This allows our coaching team to assess each player's current level, understand their development needs, and recommend the most appropriate programme and training group.The trial isn't about selecting only the "best" players, it's about ensuring every player is placed in an environment where they can develop most effectively.Following the assessment, our team will provide one of the following outcomes:An offer into the most suitable Academy programme.A recommendation for an alternative EVO pathway better suited to the player's current stage of development.Guidance on the next steps before joining in the future.This process helps ensure every player enters an environment where they can be challenged, supported and continue to improve.

EVO groups players by their year of birth, in line with Football Australia and the broader Australian football system.When selecting a programme, simply choose the age group that corresponds with your child's birth year, rather than their current age. For example, a player may still be nine years old but belong in an Under 10 age group, depending on their year of birth.If you're unsure which age group your child belongs in, don't worry, our team will be happy to help before you book a trial or enrol.

Yes.We work with players of all abilities, from those just starting their football journey through to advanced players pursuing elite pathways.For players aged 8+, our Academy includes a Development Programme, designed specifically for players who are newer to the game or still building their technical foundations. These players train in an environment that matches their current stage of development, allowing them to build confidence and improve at an appropriate pace.As players develop, they may be invited to progress into our Affiliate, Academy or High Performance pathways when they're ready.Our goal isn't simply to place players into the highest group, it's to place them in the right environment for long-term development. That's why all Academy players complete a trial, allowing our coaching team to recommend the pathway where they'll learn, enjoy their football, and continue to improve.

Yes. Many players train across multiple EVO locations each week, depending on their programme and training schedule.Our team can help recommend the best combination of sessions for your child's development.

If your child is unable to attend a session, please let us know as soon as possible so we can manage coaching ratios and session planning.Players may be eligible for up to three make-up sessions per calendar year for genuine absences, subject to availability and provided the absence has been communicated to our team.

Yes.If your child misses a session for a valid reason, they may be eligible for a make-up session at another suitable EVO training group, up to a maximum of three make-up sessions per calendar year (subject to availability).If EVO cancels a scheduled session due to circumstances within our control, families will receive an account credit that can be applied towards a future session or enrolment.Refunds are not provided for missed sessions.

If you need to withdraw from the programme, please notify our administration team in writing as soon as possible.Withdrawals are managed in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.Where a player is unable to continue due to a long-term illness or injury, training fees may be placed on hold or refunded upon receipt of a valid medical certificate.

In most circumstances, yes.However, where a withdrawal is due to a long-term illness or injury supported by a valid medical certificate, we may place future training fees on hold or provide a refund for the affected period, in accordance with our policies.Each request is assessed individually.

Every EVO programme is designed to support player development, but each serves a different purpose.The Development pathway is ideal for players early in the football journey who need to build confidence, technical ability and game understanding in a structured environment.As players improve, they may be invited into Affiliate, Academy or High Performance pathways, depending on their development, commitment and readiness.Our goal is not to move players through the pathways as quickly as possible, but to place them where they are most likely to develop.

A Train-On offer is not a reflection of a player's potential or ability.Train-On players train within the Academy environment and receive the same coaching, curriculum and development opportunities as Academy players. Depending on the programme and player progression, Train-On players may also be invited to participate in Academy fixtures.A Train-On recommendation is typically made when our coaching team believes a player will benefit from spending more time in the EVO environment before committing to the Affiliate programme.Many players begin as Train-On or Development players before progressing into the Affiliate pathways as they continue to develop. Some players also opt to do Train-On to continue with their grassroots club, and can't attend EVO more than once per week.

Yes.Most EVO players continue playing and training with their local club while attending our programmes. EVO is designed to complement club football, while also providing a full-time pathway for players seeking a more comprehensive development environment.
