EVO Football is a coaching and player development organisation.

 

We work alongside Wanneroo City SC (a Football West-affiliated Club) and other partner Clubs to deliver professional coaching, trials, and player pathways.

 

This partnership ensures every player benefits from EVO’s high-performance Academy programs while the Club manages all official league and cup participation in compliance with Football West Competition Management Regulations.

 

The partnership between EVO Football and Wanneroo City Soccer Club represents a game-changing collaboration for football development in our region. For Wanneroo City Soccer Club, the partnership bolsters their long-term vision of developing their senior sector and pushing for promotion. By fostering a pipeline of promising youth talent, the club is creating a strong foundation for its first team and future success.

 

This collaboration makes sense for both organisations as it unites our shared goals: providing players with elite development opportunities and building a sustainable, progressive football system. We currently operate across U9, U10, U11, and U12 age groups, with plans to expand into U13, U14, U15, U16, and U18 soon. Together, we are laying the groundwork for a brighter future for football in our community.

HOW IT WORKS

 

Club partnership: EVO administers and conducts trials on behalf of Wanneroo City SC and other affiliated Clubs.

 

Player development: We provide technical training, coaching staff, strength & conditioning, and structured development programs.

 

Competition participation: Players are registered with Wanneroo City SC via the Play Football website, the Football West approved registration system.

 

Training games: Occasionally, players may be invited to additional training sessions. If an external opponent is involved, these games are sanctioned and hosted through the Club in accordance with Football West’s friendly match process.

 

Why This Partnership Matters

 

The Academy–Club model combines the best of both worlds:

 

• Year-round training (up to 10 months, with optional off-season programs) .

• Professional full-time EVO coaching staff instead of volunteers.

• Player care, analysis, strength & conditioning (S&C), and performance support.

• Access to tours, Academy Friday Night Games, and talent ID opportunities.

 

Matchdays are played under Wanneroo City SC in Football West competitions. EVO’s role is training and development; Wanneroo’s role is official team entry and governance.

 

Player Registration & Compliance

All team selections, player registrations, and competition entries are managed by Wanneroo City SC in accordance with Football West regulations, and all players are officially registered and play as Wanneroo City SC, a Football West-affiliated Club.

 

U8–U12 squads compete in blue competitions (top grade); U13+ squads compete in the Junior Development League (JDL) under Football West governance.

 

EVO provides the coaching and development environment; Wanneroo provides the competition entry and registration pathway.

Tournament Participation

Through our partnership with Wanneroo City SC (a Football West-affiliated Club), EVO Football supports the Club in entering teams into selected tournaments and events under the Wanneroo banner.

• Club Entry: All tournament entries are lodged by Wanneroo City SC as the official entrant, in accordance with Football West and Football Australia regulations.

• EVO’s Role: EVO provides the coaching staff, player development framework, and event operations that prepare and manage the players during the tournament.

• Compliance: Player registrations, insurance, and governance remain under Wanneroo City SC as the affiliated Club. EVO’s role is to deliver the football program on behalf of the Club.

• Development Focus: These tournaments are an extension of the Academy-Club model, giving players additional opportunities to apply their training in competitive, sanctioned environments.
