The Evolution Premier League (EPL) was born out of a simple but pressing need... what happens to player development when the regular football season ends?
For many aspiring footballers in Western Australia, the gap between winter seasons meant valuable time lost, no structured training, no competitive matches, and no real pathway to keep progressing.
We created the EPL to fill that gap.
Running every year, during Term 4, the EPL gives players aged 8 to 14 access to a professional-style training environment, with regular sessions and weekly matches designed to maintain momentum, sharpen skills, and keep players on track during the summer.
This is not just “off-season training”. This is "high-performance football development" when others are switching off.
Whether you’re aiming to compete at the next level or simply want to stay sharp year-round, the EPL exists to give players the structure, intensity, and opportunity they need.

FULL TIME FOOTBALL
A summer option to train up to 5 times a week, tactical coaching and a weekly game - just like the pros.
REAL DEVELOPMENT
Through grading, players are assigned to respective teams whereby they will physiological, technical, tactical, and psychological aspects that adhere to their team's designated style of play.
COMPETITIVE EDGE
Each EPL “club” has a unique identity, training time, and style of play, just like they do in professional academies.

How does it work?
The Evolution Premier League is designed to support players who want to continue to play and/or train competitively in their off-season. We run this during Term 4 of the school year, every year, when the Football West League season has finished.

EVO Football operates in cooperation with the set School Terms dates: 1, 2, 3 & 4. Our players selected for our Academy (U9 - U16) are committed to us for a trimester (Terms 1 - 3). Our Academy players play additional matches with us outside of their club as well as tour away when opportunities arise.
Following our grading day, (commencing prior to the start of EPL in Term 3), players will be placed in one of four teams with its own distinct coach, playing style, kit and designated training night.
Every club will have age groups from U8 up to U14.
If you're a U15+ player, we will have a separate off-season program, with weekly matchdays too.

After the success of last year's inaugural Female Evolution Premier League, we're ready to take the next step.
This summer, we're excited to launch the second edition of the Female Evolution Premier League, our competitive, high-performance training and match programme designed exclusively for girls aged 8–14.
This year, we want to make it bigger, stronger and better than ever before.
To do that, we're now taking expressions of interest from players who want to be part of a dedicated female football environment focused on development, competition and long-term progression.
Once numbers are confirmed, we'll release the final programme structure, training schedule, match format, fees and trial information.

THE EPL RUNS ON A 10 WEEK BASIS THAT COINCIDES WITH SCHOOL TERM 4
Football Evolution Training operates in cooperation with the set School Terms dates: 1, 2, 3 & 4. Our players selected for our Academy (U9 - U16) are committed to us for a trimester (Terms 1 - 3). Our Academy players play additional matches with us outside of their club as well as tour away when opportunities arise.
